The award was created to promote lifelong learning by helping young Nigerian graduates and undergraduates bring their ideas to life. Objective: The principal objective of the initiative is to identify suitable participants with ideas that tackle specific challenges in their communities by proposing practical solutions with a credible business plan for a profit-making venture that could generate significant, measurable, and sustainable social impact. Prize: The winner of DAAYTA receives funding of ₦12,000,000 (twelve million naira) over a one-year period. This grant supports the development of their business plan, completion of an entrepreneurial education at the Pan Atlantic University’s Enterprise Development Centre (EDC) in Lagos, and five-month acceleration support through a reputable entrepreneurial hub in Lagos.
