How do I register on ARM Academy eLearning platform?
Click Login from the home page. In the fields provided, just enter your work email address (typed in full) and your password (system password) and click Login. After this, because you are just logging in for the first time, you will be prompted to enter more details about yourself e.g. your First Name and Last Name. Try not to type a new password other than your existing one (so as to retain it). To enter more details about yourself e.g. your department, your preferred profile Photo/Image, your Mobile number etc, click Edit Profile at the top left of the page. After you complete all, an automatic Welcome Email will be sent to your email.

To enlarge/reduce the page size/course you can: Zoom in (enlarge): Press Ctrl and + Zoom out (reduce): Press Ctrl and – Reset (Original size): You can also look for Zoom option under the menus of your Web Browser. You can also look out for a button that can switch the course window into a Full-Screen Display. This display size is recommended for better focus and effective learning time.
How do I begin my course?
Once you have logged into the ARM Academy eLearning platform, you should see a course or a list of courses scheduled for you. Right in front of each one of them is a percentage box icon that tracks your progress on the course. It is initially 0% and keeps increasing e.g. when you attend the course halfway to continue at another time. When you finally complete a course, the 0% is changed to either 100% or a round green tick icon symbolizing Done/Completed. To start a course, simply click on the course title, for example, Introduction to Risk Management. It opens another page where you see Start Lesson
I am logged in but can't see any course scheduled for me
Be sure you are checking within the course availability date period. If you come before the start date or after the course expiry date, you will definitely not see the course(s) displayed. In this situation, contact us via email or phone. (Extension: 133/287)

Navigating around the ARM Academy LMS
The ARM Academy Learning Management System (LMS) is structured into four (4) sections:
i) The Menu area,
ii) The Search space,
iii) The Course tab; and
iv) The Course Display area.
— The Menu comprises the following buttons: Home, Messages, Calendar, Discussions, Reports, Knowledge Bank.
— The Search space is used to search for courses/trainings that one has been scheduled for on the platform.
— The Course tab has four options: All Courses, Course In-Progress, New Courses, and Recently Completed Courses
— The Course Display area shows a thumbnail of courses on the platform
What is ARM Knowledge Bank?
The ARM Academy Knowledge Management System (a.k.a. Knowledge Bank) is an online solution that warehouses relevant knowledge about ARM, facilitate knowledge capturing, sharing, dissemination and application across the firm.
The system is a separate section of the ARM Academy Learning Management System (LMS) hosting historical information about the firm, and other relevant resources in form of Case Studies, Articles and Reports. To go to the Knowledge Bank, click “Knowledge Bank” on the Menu bar.
How Do I Launch A Course?
Simply search for the course by typing the course title in full or part e.g. Customer Experience…
2) Wait for the search to return a result
3) Click on the thumbnail of the course of your choice
4) Click the Start button
5) Click the “Click to Start” button to launch and commence the course
Kindly note that the courses are tracked as you make progress. A 0% Completed status means the course has not started. 50% Completed means you are half-way on the course.
How to use the Group Lesson Key?
1) A Group Lesson key is a long chain of text and numbers e.g. 909a394SST3949aa349345 that gives you access to a course on the ARM Academy LMS. Some courses require you access them using the specific group lesson key provided.
To Use the Group Lesson Key, follow the steps below:
1) Copy the group lesson key (without spaces) from the course schedule email sent to you
2) Click the “Hello your name” option at the top right corner of the page
3) Select ‘Group Key’
4) Paste the key provided from the course email into the ‘Group Key’ field accessible by clicking ‘on the top right corner of your LMS page
5) Click the Submit button. You should be added to the course automatically.
Furthermore, you may refresh the page and look out for the title of the course (on the course display area).
Messaging the Academy
One of the quickest routes to get an ARM Academy staff to resolve an issue on the learning platform is to leverage the ‘Messages’ feature on the ARM Academy LMS page. The saves you the stress of sending an email or trying to call ARM Academy’s phone extension.

4) Click the “Update” button. Your details get saved immediately.

Some ARM Academy courses require that learners join an online forum for discussing and sharing ideas. The Learners Forum is designed to:
— Share practical knowledge, insights, perspectives, and experiences;
— Encourage continuous coaching and handholding;
— Increase engagement and collaboration among staff members generally; and
— Identify concerns real-time, and possibly come up with solutions to them.
Once you are scheduled for a course that falls under this category, you should get profiled automatically, and receive subsequent emails informing you about the Forum.
